Sturdy well made product. Futaba Pulscale Manual. Some assembly required but very easy to complete.Quiet in operation. Levels of resistance is from easy to very hard but is fairly linear. I had a faulty computer but this was replaced immediately,top marks for that. The manual that comes with the bike is basic and the manual for the computer especially is poor. Overall I think this bike is very good value for money and like any piece of equipment time will tell how reliable it will be. Although this bike is more basic than ones I have used in various gyms the workout is equally as good. For a piece of home equipment I would recommend it for anyone that is reasonably fit and wanting to get fitter.
I was surprised when I saw the bike because it was bigger than I expected. The framework is solid enough to carry its designated maximum weight. Screws and fixes quite nicely so it doesn't wobble. Seats are wide enough to carry weight and should be comfortable as you get along with it, same with all other bicycle seats. The assembly took me a while. I had a hard time connecting the tension band wire as it only gives you little space to hook it on.
It made harder for me bacause of my big fingers. (also due to the fact that the instruction manuals are not clear enough to read) you have to develop a technique to pull the actual bit that you hook on to the wire at the same time hold the handle bars and slot it all in together. I would advice the ladies to ask for help on the assembly of this item.

The tension is great, same as the ones you get from the your GYM. Excellent for those who want to burn calories and loose weight faster. (The difficult the tension is, the more effective your workout will be) The computer screen gives you a rough estimation but not accurate with regards to the figures buts its acceptable with its price range. From an RRP of £369 to £[] you actually get a very good bargain out of this product because of its quality. I suppose with the competition on the market they have to do this to get in the game of sales.and we as buyers should take advantage of this!!!
Anyway Im soo pleased with this product, and would give 4 / 5. I will reserve a 5 rating to expensive and really good ones! I order the exercise bike to help me recover from a recent cardiac arrest. I had high hopes that this bike would suit me as an entry level piece of equipment and I spent a lot of time comparing different manufactures, models etc. The one I ordered was the last one available - lucky me! (or so I thought) I paid for 2 day delivery and sure enough it arrived on day 2 at about lunch time. I didn't realise it at the time of delivery but as I was unpacking the box there was a distinct lack of tape around the box although all of the plastic ties were in place etc.
It was only after I thought about it that it became obvious that the packaging had originally been opened and then resealed. After taking the time to build the bike up we found that the computer refused to 'START' or 'STOP' an exercise program. It's now dismantled and waiting to be collected and returned.
I'm annoyed because with hindsight this has obviously been returned before (presumably with the same problem, faulty computer) and then re-shipped back out. I've ordered a different model from a different supplier.
