This is the second of two exams required for the CCNA Data Center certification. This course also prepares learners to pass the 640-916 DCICT 1.0. Mar 15, 2014. I have this goal to get through the CCNP Data Center this year so I've been heavily labbing on the INE DC racks with the INE DC Workbooks, I read through Lammle's 640-911 book (90% of that book is basic CCNA -level stuff so I skipped most of it), watched both the 640-911 and 640-916 CBT Nugget.

I've worn many hats, but currently focus on vmware and storage (mostly Brocade), with a little UCS. Decided to go for the CCNA datacenter to learn a little more about Cisco MDS switches and UCS. I also felt it complimented my recent VCP5-DCV and VCP6-NV certs and helped round out my datacenter skill set. To prep for each test, I read the official cert guide, doing the 'do i already know this' questions after I completed the chapter. After the end of each part, I did the part review questions. When the book was done, I watched CBT nuggets, and took notes.
