This is a small, basic TV recorder that has decent picture and audio quality, but has a number of irritating features. It is not BRAVIA Sync-compatible (as my Panasonic DVD Recorder is), and so Sony TV users will have to use the TV/AV Input button on their remote control (rather than the Sync Menu button) to see the first installation screen, as well as every time you want to use this product. As other reviewers have written, I would recommend selecting Quick Mode for the start up time, as this only takes a couple of seconds to display the picture. This box does emit a one-second slight whirring noise about every five minutes, but this is only really noticeable when the unit and TV are not in use.

I have also encountered a few problems when recording programmes. The quickest way to set this product to record a programme is to use the TV Guide in Programme mode, but this is not always reliable, and so now I always manually schedule a recording in Timer mode. This does not take that much longer to perform, is more reliable, and you can set the timer to come on a couple of minutes before and off a couple of minutes after the scheduled times to avoid missing parts of the programme. Autocom Cdp Pro Keygen here. Programme mode relies on the network's broadcast signal marking the beginning and end of a programme, but a few times this did not work correctly, frustratingly resulting in the programme not recording at all, coming on late or cutting off early.
Since setting the recorder manually, I have not encountered any such problems. The final glitch I've noticed since using this product for five weeks is that sometimes it seems to get stuck in a loop when I switch it off, resulting in the red standby light permanently flashing. It only seems to happen whenever a recorded programme has been deleted from the Library. Although this can easily be rectified by unplugging the power cord from the back of the unit and then replacing it, it is an annoying feature that prevents me rating it more than three stars.
