Double majors are very rare at Juilliard, due to the strenuous nature of our performance-based curriculum. Most double majors require a third year of study to complete all requirements, and there is an additional cost above tuition that is applicable each year. If you are considering a double major, you must apply, audition, and be admitted to each major before formally requesting approval to study both majors. The Registrar's Office will review the request to determine the feasibility of combining the two chosen majors. Due to the rigorous program for this major, it is not possible to double in Piano or Voice.
Fee waiver documentation must be uploaded directly within the online application and submitted by the. Documents must be in either.doc or.pdf format. (Convert your file to another format if scanning your document as a jpg.) Fee waiver requests are processed on an ongoing basis. There will be an application fee payment due on your application status page until either your request is approved or denied.
You will receive an email with the results of your request as soon as it is processed. If your request for a fee waiver is denied, you will be required to pay the application fee by the deadline.
Your application is not considered complete until the fee has been received. An artistic resume must be uploaded as part of the online application. The resume should be 1-2 pages and must include: • Your name (and any alternate name used) • Education (all diplomas/certificates/degrees earned or in progress) • Any experience related to your intended major There is no specific required format for the resume; however it must be uploaded in either a.pdf or.doc format.
